A design collective with many years of experience
we specialize in developing new case-goods and upholstery product designs that meet the individual needs of our clients. Our team works closely with marketing, sales, and manufacturing to get the right product to market.
In 2016 Monty Simpson created Public House Design with the idea that the company would be a place where multiple designers working with different specialties could unite on an as needed bases to handle client’s projects. Everyone would be freelance and the advantage was to offer different looks and expertise based on the needs of the project. Early on this worked out well and even Monty, the founder, was able to keep her full time job as a professor at Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids Michigan. In the summer of 2018 Joe Sadony joined the company and became a partner in 2019.
Monty and Joe have a long history together. Monty was Joe’s professor in college and Joe started to do freelance work for her in his junior year of college. That was 2010 and they have worked together ever since. As the business grew and more shoulders were needed to carry the load, Public House Design merged in with Sadony Creative.
